The Crown Affiliates Launch Checklist
A preflight checklist for Brands and Affiliates covering account readiness, program economics, disclosures, links, content rights, evidence, support, and payout data.
Use this checklist before publishing a program or activating a partnership. A launch is ready when another person can understand the offer, reproduce the commission math, follow the approval path, and identify the evidence required at every state.
Brand readiness
- Business identity, support contact, destination URL, and fulfillment path verified.
- Product facts, prices, inventory or capacity, returns, limitations, and claims current.
- Commission type, amount, eligible event, exclusions, attribution window, pending period, and reversal conditions written.
- Approved channels, geography, creative rights, disclosure language, prohibited traffic, and prohibited claims published.
- Application questions and decision owner assigned.
- Payment method and operating plan active.
Affiliate readiness
- Profile states niche, audience, channels, geography, samples, and turnaround accurately.
- Application explains fit rather than copying the program description.
- Content rights, music, footage, names, testimonials, and Brand assets cleared.
- Material-connection disclosure planned for the actual medium.
- Approved link or code tested before publication.
- Tax and payout details submitted only through approved secure workflows.
Tracking readiness
- Destination is HTTPS and loads on mobile.
- Program identifier and Affiliate code persist to the intended conversion point.
- Duplicate, self-referral, refund, chargeback, and invalid-traffic logic documented.
- Test activity is labeled and excluded from production economics.
- Brand and Affiliate can see the status transitions relevant to them.
Operating readiness
- Questions have an owner and response target.
- Approval feedback is consolidated.
- Material term changes are versioned and prospective.
- Weekly review includes quality, not only volume.
- Pause and incident paths are understood before they are needed.
Once every item has an owner and evidence source, publish the program, recruit a bounded first cohort, and learn from real eligible outcomes before increasing volume.
Turn the insight into a governed partnership action.
