Clear rules before traffic or money.
Crown Affiliates connects Brands and Affiliates through governed Programs. These answers explain what the marketplace records, what can become payable, and what stays gated until the evidence is complete.
Programs & applications
What is a Crown Affiliates Program?+
A Program is a Brand-defined partnership offer with a commission basis, attribution window, application mode, disclosure duties, prohibited claims, destination, and operating terms. Public Programs are published only when those terms are ready to be shown together.
Why might the Programs marketplace be empty?+
Crown Affiliates does not seed fake opportunities. If no Brand has a production-ready public Program, the marketplace says so. New Programs appear only when real offer, commission, attribution, claims, rights, fulfillment, and disclosure terms are ready.
Does applying to a Program guarantee approval?+
No. A Brand can use open, approval, or invite-based participation. Where approval is required, the application remains a participation request until the Brand records its decision.
Attribution & commissions
What actually creates a commission?+
Only a governed server-side economic event that satisfies the Program terms can create payable commission state. Page views, clicks, saves, applications, approvals, browser analytics, and marketing events are observations; they do not create a payable balance by themselves.
How does attribution work?+
Each Program declares its attribution model and window. Crown Affiliates records governed referral evidence against the approved Program and Affiliate identity, then applies the Program rules to qualifying economic events.
Can a tracked click be treated as a sale?+
No. Tracking evidence and economic evidence are separate. Crown Affiliates deliberately prevents browser activity from manufacturing conversion, commission, settlement, or payout truth.
Promotion standards
What may an Affiliate promote?+
Promote only the approved Program, destination, creative, and claims you are authorized to use. Follow the Program disclosure requirements and the Crown Affiliates promotion standards on every material placement.
Do I need to disclose the relationship?+
Yes when the relationship is material. The Program can impose additional disclosure language or prohibited-claim rules. Attribution does not replace disclosure.
Are provider credentials exposed to Affiliates or Brands?+
No. Provider credentials remain server-side. Customer-facing tools are exposed only through bounded, authorized workflows and remain disabled when their provider or customer authority is not certified.
Payouts & reversals
When is a commission payable?+
A commission must satisfy the Program terms and its applicable validation, reversal, dispute, refund, and settlement gates before it becomes payable. A recorded commission and an available payout are not the same state.
What happens if a payment provider is not ready?+
Money movement stays contained. Crown Affiliates does not force a transfer, invent a success state, or bypass provider authority. Eligible economic state remains recorded until the required provider and settlement checks are available.
Can commissions be reversed?+
Yes when the Program terms or underlying transaction evidence require it, such as a refund, dispute, invalid conversion, or other governed reversal condition. The ledger preserves that state change rather than rewriting history.
Account & support
How do I reset my password?+
Use the password-reset flow from the login screen. Signed-in users can also use the security controls available in their account settings.
Where do I ask about a Program, attribution, or payout state?+
Use the Crown Affiliates contact and support surfaces. Include the Program and relevant transaction or tracking reference when you have one, but never send passwords, API keys, card numbers, or other secrets.
Read the Program before you promote it.
Commission basis, attribution, disclosures, prohibited claims, reversals, and payout rules belong together.
